Philosophy 

The Shepherdville College is established to cater the educational aspirations of the countryside youth adhering to the principle that the best foundation of all learning is the Word of God. It is designed to empower its learners with academic and technological competence imbued with strong charismatic leadership and amplified by unwavering love of God and Country building a strong sense of nationalism, service and commitment for life and development toward a more peaceful, progressive, and better tomorrow anchored in the pursuit of excellence for truth in the service of God and humanity.

The College Objectives

To develop a well-rounded personality upon the learners with emphasis on spiritual, intellectual, moral, social, cultural, emotional, and physical aspects of development

  1. To inculcate and train the learners with Christian truth and values, that is knowing and understanding God, the message of His love and plan for humanity in order for them to be God-fearing, to do His will and serve Him well and to prepare them for works of service in their families, communities, and country as a whole;

  2. To develop critical thinking with freedom and confidence to enable the learners to formulate right and responsible judgement and to communicate their ideas and opinions freely, adequate, and clearly;

  3. To inculcate love of country, defend its freedom and sovereignty, abide by its laws and order in the building of a strong sense of patriotism and to imbued the moral obligation for nationalistic identity and integral existence as one nation with one hope under one God;

  4. To develop scientific and technological awareness in the acquisition of desirable skills, proficiencies, and competitiveness;

  5. To bring the learners into deep concern and involvement for others and to mobilize them to live up a life of honor, integrity and fidelity.
