The Shepherdville College Library adheres to the vision-mission of the parent institution by providing quality service, a vibrant place for learning, and rich diversity of resources that will complement and enrich the institution’s curriculum.

In pursuit of this mission, the library goals are: 

​

1. Develop a well-organized, balanced and diverse collection of library resources; 

2. Strengthen collaboration between librarians and the academic community; 

3. Provide quality service responsive to the needs of the academic community;

4. Develop programs and activities that will enhance students' learning and promote lifelong learning;

5. Provision of conducive study spaces, sufficient number of seats, and varied types of seating; 

6. Provide and promote a well-balanced staff development program.
